When can I expect results from your treatment program?
Clients report they first begin to notice improvement in three to eight weeks. The viable
hair follicles should develop small, new hairs which, over time, become thicker and stronger
in appearance. Clogged follicles are opened for impediment-free growth. Local conditions, such
as unsightly dandruff and scaling, are cleared, while it helps stop persistent scalp itch.
And, by stimulating and increasing scalp circulation and blood flow, delivered nutrients and
amino acids assist viable hair follicles to return to a natural hair growth cycle. There will
be visible improvement in the overall thickness, fullness and healthy appearance of your hair.
Since regular treatment application is very important, men and women with the greatest success
make a solid commitment to use the treatment formulas as instructed.

What is Hair Transplantation?
It is a surgical procedure performed in the office for the treatment of baldness. The conventional
method relies upon harvesting small hair-bearing skin grafts from nonbalding portions of the scalp
and transferring them to the areas of baldness. Each graft usually contains from one to five hairs.
Over the last few years, new potential benefits have emerged from improvements in the state-of-the-art
surgical techniques of hair transplantation. Methods have been developed that allow for transplantation
of large numbers of hairs as micro- and mini-grafts. By transplanting these very small pieces of
hair-bearing skin containing from one to several hairs, a more natural appearance is created. An
individualized treatment plan is developed which best meets the particular needs of the patient.
Appropriately implemented together, the various methods of transplantation complement each other.

Has Hair Transplantation been proven to work?
This procedure has been successfully performed for over 35 years. It is an accepted medical procedure
among the medical profession. The only differing factor is the quality of the results. Early techniques
(still being used by some other surgeons!) resulted in the "doll hair" look, but recent advances in the
use of micro and mini-grafts (follicular units) utilized by HLTC have dramatically improved the results
of hair restoration surgery. HLTC guarantees that every hair transplant graft will grow, provided the
patient follows the pre and post operative instructions, or it will be replaced at no charge or the
graft fee refunded.

How do I know if I am a good candidate for a Hair Transplant?
Only an evaluation at HTLC can answer this question. We will analyze your individual hair loss and
outline your options. Factors that determine whether you are a good candidate for a transplant include
the number of grafts necessary to produce the results you desire, availability and density of donor
hair, hair color, skin color, hair texture and potential future hair loss. Virtually, any man or woman
who is experiencing some degree of hair loss can be a patient.

What types of baldness can be treated with this procedure?
Common baldness (androgenetic alopecia) in men and woman can be treated by hair transplantation.
Although the hair loss pattern for women is different from men, the procedure can be very effective.
Many woman retain their frontal hairline but experience a diffuse thinning throughout the top of the
scalp which can become significant. Hair transplantation aims to fill in the thinning areas. In
addition, certain types of baldness due to scarring may be treated by hair transplantation.

What percentage of grafts produce hair?
On occasion, a few grafts may produce a reduced number of hairs but almost all will produce hair.
When will the grafts begin to grow hair?
Due to the manipulation involved, the hairs in the larger grafts usually are shed. Regrowth typically
begins in 2 to 6 months. Hairs in smaller grafts often continue to grow immediately after surgery.
