Laser Light Therapy

Science of Light Energy
Light is actually electromagnetic waves of different lengths called wavelengths. Only light
with a wavelength between 400 nanometers and 700 nanometers is visible to the human eye. Short
wave length lights of less than 400 nanometers like ultraviolet rays and X-rays aren't visible
but we know they are there and what they can do. Wavelengths longer than 700 nanometers like
microwaves, television, AM/FM radio waves aren't visible either but we witness and accept their
use every day.
Photons (Light Energy)
In school we are taught that the center of an atom is the nucleus. The nucleus is made up of
neutrons and protons. Surrounding the nucleus are electrons, which move in orbit, releasing
energy. The released energy is photons.
All life on this planet is dependent on light energy (photons) derived from the sun. The sun's
energy is first captured when a plant's chlorophyll molecules absorb photons. This energy is then
used in a process of photosynthesis to create glucose and oxygen.
Lasers are tools that create photons. Any time Laser treatments are mentioned, we are referencing
photons. Before photons (light energy) can produce any effect they must be absorbed into the body
and one of three events can take place. Only one of these events is relevant to us - when photons
trigger a multitude of cellular changes call photobiostimulation. The true healing power of the Laser
treatments is in the controlled direction of the laser light to the parts of the body where and when
they are needed.
Invisible Healing Light
Photobiotherapy has been around for a long time, but, harnessing and refining all this therapy with
lasers is new. Photons from ordinary light are emitted randomly and travel in all different directions.
They are constantly bombarding our skin with no immediate noticeable effect. Lasers, however, have
the ability to concentrate the flow of photons in a perfect order. These structured photons following
the same path do trigger noticeable changes to the skin and the tissues below. Low energy lasers are
designed to penetrate deep within the tissues without causing any heat or damage that will enhance the
body's own innate healing powers.
Laser treatments focus light energy (photons) that normalizes damaged tissue by activating enzymes
within the body. Enzymes are molecules that speed up the chemical reactions among other substances.
It seems much like a nutrient to normal healthy tissue, and the photons are only absorbed by the damaged
cells that need help. When you strike a tuning fork other tuning forks close by begin to vibrate at
the same frequency giving off the same sound. The same way unbalanced groups of cells in your body can
be brought back into harmony when exposed to the proper wavelength of energy.
The Laser treatment lights emit photons at 670 nanometers, which is an effective wavelength for balancing
the abnormal energy patters associated with hair loss. Low level laser light energy sets into motion a
chain reaction of cellular events, increasing protein syntheses cell division, tissue regeneration and
the microcirculation blood supplies. The improved blood flow significantly increases the number of red
corpuscles that deliver life giving oxygen and nutrients to the hair bulb. This will help produce a
stronger, faster, healthier growing hair shaft. Using Laser treatments to treat hair loss is just one
of many new discoveries of the "invisible healing light".
